This is the first course in a series designed to help you understand why Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practitioners should to evaluate their own approach to ABA. By offering treatment from a compassionate, trauma-informed, and assent-based approach, ABA practitioners can break free from the chains of protocol that can harm those who access ABA services.

Historical, ethical failures in ABA will be reviewed, current "best-practice" procedures will be evaluated, and the way forward is discussed in this course.
